Welcome to Leeds City Council complex needs service

The latest complex needs service news update is NOW available in the documents section.

Leeds City Council's complex needs service is for children and young people from 0 to 25 years with complex learning difficulties and disabilities, and their families.

Our vision is that every Leeds child with a significant learning difficulty or disability will benefit from child centred, high quality, flexible and responsive services that help them to live a successful and fulfilling life.

We do this by listening and responding to the voice of the child and by valuing and working closely with families. We have local teams that work around the needs with relevant professionals and experts to deliver strong support services which are coordinated around the needs of the child and their family.

For more information on complex needs services in your area, along with relevant contact numbers, please download our leaflet for parents and professionals.

The portage service in Leeds is provided through Barnardo's where more information is available to download from the documents section.
